After the Fall: Granton Gas Holder

This gas holder was part of the Granton Gas Works, northwest Edinburgh, built in 1898-1903. It was the largest gasworks in Scotland and closed in 1987. Most of the site is now demolished. The gas holder is a listed structure and is a popular local landmark.

The painting was part of the 'Art in Granton' exhibition in early 2016.
